The Wordsworth Hotel

We had an enjoyable time. The breakfast was perfect, hearty, the location was incredible. The hotel staff was attentive and consistently courteous.

Peaceful accommodation with unbeatable setting not far from Rydal caves and Rydal & Grasmere lakes as well as all local shops.

Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Grasmere. I were given a king room, it was stocked and perfect. Courteous staff provided an exceptional service.

Everything was lovely, excellent service, brilliant location not far from Rydal caves and the center of Grasmere. Well-stocked units with better ventilation in rooms.

Had a such great stay by that time, recommend this place. We liked second to none staff and food. The room was spotless with a four poster bed which was very nice and had central heating, an iron and an electronic key card.

I loved location and rooms and perfect bed. Great looking building, comfortable bedroom. The pool was good and the garden - nice.

I had magnificent days staying at this town hotel. That place was wonderful including staff and location. Although the view was stunning, I had very good bedroom.

We appreciated staff and food here. Iron/ironing board, an electronic key card and television in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. The specialities were amazing and served in the excellent restaurant.

The views were dreadful.

Breakfast was exceptional and the team was fast. Good view, a comfortable balcony, soft bed, too. Great stay in this great area. Main bar with moderately priced drinks.

Magical hotel in a very pretty location, amazing food. And it also had superb view. Well priced venue with a good service. We had a very peaceful stay, enjoyed our place and would stay here again😃😃

Brilliant stay, I liked it. Breakfast was more than adequate and the view was PANORAMIC. Beds were very very big, the staff was comprehensive. My junior suite was appropriate and modest.

I have stayed in the double room with coffee, iron and ironing board, and terrace. Gorgeous breakfast, fantastic service. Downstairs bar and well-maintained pool.

The beds were comfy, and the location was glorious. I had good value for money and extremely pleasant cosy double room. The breakfast was warm, featured a huge variety of meals. The personnel was willing to help, efficient service. Appreciated Ambleside, the hotel was delightful. Moreover, I went to the lake, it's 5 minutes walk away.

Welcoming service, fabulous place. Hotel was fairly clean, the staff was supportive. Stunningly beautiful view of courtyard. The restaurant was exceptional and its distinguished dishes are to die for. Well-maintained garden and brilliant pool.

Our favourite hotel in Ambleside, staff was kind. We liked that there was a bath.

We really enjoyed reception, it was good. The facilities, such as an iron, an electronic key card and a TV set, were all that was needed. Restaurant staff had a real "can do" approach.

Beds were tiny.

will be back, recommend it to others. had good sleep at the suite. in addition, free parking was a big bonus. for lunch or dinner go to the jumble room, located 4-6 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

Dove Bistro, where you can eat, is within a walking distance of the hotel. 15 minutes' walk to dove cottage We liked everything at wordsworth including food and staff...

Heaton cooper studio was placed in direct proximity. 200 metres away from the hotel there is Tweedies Bar, which is a good dining choice. They offer free WiFiin the rooms, which allows you to work from the venue.
